Salas Wraps Up Day One at NCAA Rifle Championships

AKRON, Ohio – Junior Ben Salas recorded a smallbore score of 585 on day one of the NCAA Rifle Championships on Friday in Akron.
Salas tied for 14th overall with his score of 585. He will compete in the second relay for air rifle on day two of the NCAA Championships on Saturday.
Alaska Fairbanks (2,349) leads after day one of the NCAA Championships, while fellow GARC members Ole Miss (2,346) and West Virginia (2,343) rank second and third.
