
Pack Completes First Day of Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate

AWENDAW, S.C. -- The NC State men's golf team finished the first round of play at the 2015 Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate Sunday afternoon. Following one time through the Bulls Bay Golf Club, the Wolfpack is tied for 11th in the team standings with a 295 (+7).
Senior James Chapman led the way for the Wolfpack on Sunday, carding an even-par 72 to end the day tied for 26th among the field of 75 golfers. Chapman was especially strong on par 4s during his first round, averaging a 3.75 on these holes to rank tied for third in this statistical category.
Carter Page and Stanhope Johnson are each currently tied for 47th after the first round. Page and Johnson carded matching scores of 74 (+2) on the par 72, 7,363-yard course.
David Cooke (T52) and Jacob McBride (T61) rounded out State's scores on Sunday. Cooke shot a 75 (+3) while McBride shot a 78 (+6).
NC State will continue play at the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate on Monday morning. The Wolfpack golfers will tee off from hole 10 from 9 -- 9:40 a.m. To follow the action live, click here.
