AWENDAW, S.C. – Led by two Wolfpack golfers tied for seventh place in the field of 75, the NC State men's golf team completed the first day of action at the 2016 Hootie at Bulls Bay tournament on Sunday.
Through one full round of play at Bulls Bay Golf Club, the Wolfpack is tied for fifth place with No. 20 Duke. Both teams shot matching scores of 289 (+1) and find themselves one stroke ahead of seventh-place Charleston. Leading the tournament field is Charleston Southern with an impressive score of 273 (-15) on the first day of action.
