Heel/Pack Final Results
RALEIGH – All four NC State golfers finished within the top 11 of the tournament field at the 2017 Heel/Pack Individual Tournament this weekend. The tournament featured two rounds of golf: Saturday at UNC Finley Golf Course and Sunday at Lonnie Poole Golf Course on NC State's campus.
If the event was scored as a team tournament, NC State would have claimed first place, as the combination of Dwight Cauthen (T6), Christian Salzer (T6), Chad Cox (T9), and Nolan Mills Jr. (T11) combined to shoot 595 (+19) over the course of two rounds. UNC-Chapel Hill would have finished second with a team score of 601 (+25).
Steven DiLisio of Duke claimed the individual title, shooting a 143 (-1). Thomas LaMorte of Campbell finished second in the 34-golfer field with a 144 (E).
