RALEIGH – Led by sophomore Nolan Mills Jr. winning medalist honors and the entire starting lineup finishing within the top 16 of the tournament field, the NC State men's golf team dominated the 2017 Wolfpack Spring Open by 13 strokes. En route to claiming its third consecutive victory at this event, the Wolfpack shot 821 (-31) through three rounds of action at Lonnie Poole Golf Course.
Mills and McBride entered the final round in a tie for third place and each concluded the tournament with strong rounds. Mills shot a 67 (-4) his final time through the course and McBride ended with an ever-par 71 to claim second place for the second consecutive tournament.
