QUOTES FROM COACH SYKES
General thoughts
"I thought the guys struggled yesterday in the conditions, which made it hard for everybody. Today was a much better day. We really played pretty well. We just didn't have a low score anywhere. We didn't finish that great on the last hole. Give Augusta State credit: they are a really good team and they played quite well."
On Jacob McBride's performance
"You know, Jake has become a very solid player. We're going to depend on him a lot. He's quite a good player and I was proud of him. He didn't putt well. If he had putted well, he might have won."
On Stanhope's improvement
"He showed he's got a little toughness. He's starting to really grow and become a good player. And the funny thing is, he had to rush off as soon as he sank his last putt because he had to take a test."
On what he's learned about his team through three tournaments
"We have some good returning players and some really good rookies. When we get the right combination, I think we're going to be pretty good."
UP NEXT
The Wolfpack will return to competitive action at the 2015 Quail Valley Intercollegiate in Vero Beach, Fla. The two-day tournament will be played on Monday, Oct. 26 and Tuesday, Oct. 27.
