BURLINGTON, Iowa – The NC State men's golf team completed the second day of action at the 2015 Golfweek Conference Challenge on Saturday. Through two rounds at Spirit Hollow Golf Course, the Wolfpack is in second among the 15-team field.

After leading the field with a 269 (-19) on Friday, State shot a 295 (+7) Saturday. Through two rounds, the Pack has combined to shoot a team score of 564 (-12) and trails host Iowa by seven strokes.

NC State remains at the top of the leaderboard in total birdies. The Wolfpack has combined for 40 birdies through the first two rounds of the Golfweek Conference Challenge to be tied for first with Iowa.

STRONG DAY FOR STANHOPE
Stanhope Johnson dropped eight strokes from his Friday round to shoot a 70 (-2) on Saturday. The junior is tied for 39th in the field of 75 golfers.

Sunday's final round will be played in shotgun format beginning at 9:30 a.m. ET.
